Maison C.'s quirky, witty wallpapers take their inspiration from nature and fine art, rendered with a dreamlike quality.
Tancho, one of their newest designs, features Japanese Cranes, highlighting the architectural quality of their poses. In Japan, cranes are legendary birds, said to live for a thousand years and symbolising good fortune and longevity. Their black and white plumage is beautifully set against four different background colours, printed on clay-finished eco paper, using eco inks which give a very particular depth and quality of colour.
