Founded in 1996 by colourist Francesca Wezel, Francesca’s Paints was one of the very first to offer sustainable paints in the UK.
Pink continues to be a strong trend in interiors, with some subtler shades becoming the new go-to neutral. A flattering, versatile colour, it can invigorate and uplift a space and works equally well in both classic and modern settings.
For this contemporary kitchen project, Francesca’s Paints’ Madeleines was chosen to bring personality to the space. The room is swathed in the warm-toned pink paint for maximum impact and is cleverly complemented by pops of green. Wooden floors and furniture bring an organic feel to the kitchen, adding further warmth and harmonising with Madeleines pink. The design perfectly demonstrates how pink can provide interest and vibrancy to a room without overwhelming the space.
With over 200 different paint colours to choose from, Francesca’s Paints offers a wide variety of pinks, from the bright and bold ‘Pigi’s Piggy Pink’ to the light and airy ‘Rose II’. “Pink is flattering and works well with lots of different colour combinations. I have included various shades of pink in many of my collections because it really is one of my favourite colours” says Francesca.
Alongside her current paint collections, Francesca also undertakes personalised colour consultations in clients’ homes, selecting the right colours and combinations for each individual setting and offers a bespoke colour mixing service.
