Woods Fine Linens is a historically important British family business like no other, with roots in linen manufacturing and supply dating back to 1733. Originally linen mercers, the Woods family then became linen weavers in the mid-19th Century before opening their first linen shop in Harrogate in 1895.

Now iconic, Woods has a reputation as one of the finest linen shops in the world based on its famed and scrupulous attention to detail, quality, choice and profound knowledge of linens. Woods offers a comprehensive range of bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and table linens, plus an array of globally sourced luxury home styling accessories.

With an international reach and an exceptional reputation for the highest quality products and outstanding customer care, Woods have gained Royal Patronage and continues to be recognised as one of the best producers and suppliers of luxury linens.

The quality of Woods’ linens is exceptional, retaining the same level of expert craftsmanship and detail since its inception; designed to last and maintain a superior finish throughout the years, Woods’ linens bring the same beauty to the home as they did many decades ago. Alongside its own collection, it also supplies specially selected brands from across the globe.

Woods has decades of expert knowledge passed down through generations of mill owners, along with hands-on experience of spinning, weaving, bleaching, and dyeing processes during current owner William Woods’ time spent in the Northern Ireland linen mills.
